I had the chance to sit down and chat with Toronto Dominatrix and fellow kinkster Siren Thorn! This was recorded after a super fun, Domme duo session with her and I and one of our female clients whom we share (and adore). I came up with some questions for her beforehand and she printed them out and brought a damn clip board for me… NERDGASM CENTRAL.

Readers here and those who listen to my podcast know that the way to my heart is through preparation and planning so we were off to a great start. Plus we organically hold feet for about half of the interview so, that’s just cute as hell.

I asked her what she wanted more of in her upcoming sessions, and she expressed a desire for increased diversity in her clientele. She mentioned her enthusiasm for wanting to engage in more duo sessions as well! While working primarily with middle-aged, white men can be enjoyable and fulfilling, we both agreed that we would like to explore and spice things up with a variety of different types of kinksters.

We also discussed how nice it can be to collaborate with other Dommes, especially since our industry can often feel very isolating. It’s refreshing to connect and share experiences with others who understand the nuances of our field.

We chatted a bit about coaching lifestyle Dommes, and I pointed out that it’s specifically the more passive, people-pleasing types that you really need to be cautious with. Once those individuals manage to tap into their hidden sadistic side, the experience can become quite intoxicating and even overwhelming for them, leading to a complex journey of self-discovery and exploration.

I asked about how Siren personally relates to the experience of pain in both a professional sense as a dominant and in her personal life experiences. We chat about sadism and how it intertwines with the notion of pleasure, exploring the idea that inflicting or receiving pain can enhance sensations. Additionally, we exchanged thoughts on enjoying various forms of pain, such as the thrill of getting tattoos and the heat from spicy foods. Ultimately, we both agreed that we have developed high pain tolerances, which allows us to explore these interests more deeply.

We talk about the pitfalls of over promising, highlighting how individuals who go overboard with excessive assurances, grandiose gestures, and ambitious plans can often transform into your worst nightmare. In reality, if you genuinely wish to build a meaningful relationship, whether in your personal life or within a professional context, it is crucial to begin gradually, taking things slow and steady to foster a solid, realistic foundation.
